*-2004 exhibition team
The 2003 season saw the Sacramento Sirens running away with the championship, beating the undefeated (and previous year's champion) New York Sharks 41:30. They have had a tough time of it this year, as a much improved San Francisco has already beaten them once, though the two have a rematch this week.
Redding is a new team for 2004, along with Knoxville, Des Moines, Southern Maine, Jacksonville, Carolina, and Memphis. The Philadelphia, Albany, Dallas, and Miami teams are not playing this season, and probably will not be back.
The Baton Rouge Wildcats have entered the league for the 2004 season
